Shanghai, which is also called the "Oriental Pearl of Asia", lies on the Yangzi River delta at the point where China's main waterway completes its journey to the Pacific. In the past 200 years, Shanghai has experienced a booming development from a fishing village to the financial center of China. The colonial history left the city with copious architectural styles from art deco to neoclassicism, together with the oriental Buddhist temples, home-grown Lòngtáng and Shíkùmén housing, making it a diverse yet contrasting architectural heritage.
Besides keynote speeches and interactive sessions, the conference will arrange a series of seminars on several hot topics including case study presentation in the field during 3.5 days. Moreover, technical tours, software demos and training courses will be planned during or pre/post the conference.
Participants can get all the conference information and program via Conference4me application or our interactive website. The ConfTool will continue to be the conference system for abstract/paper submission and review.
Each registered participant will get a transit pass with 7 dollars credit. The transit pass can be used for both subways and buses in Shanghai. In addition, cycling is recommended for this conference, and shared bikes can be rented easily by mobile phone application.
The organization committee is a dynamic team with people from two acknowledged universities (Tongji and Tsinghua) and sponsors, chaired by Prof. Yiqun Pan and Prof. Da Yan. As a returning event since BS 2007 Beijing, the regional affiliate IBPSA-China is honored to invite all researchers, developers, practitioners, and policymakers to this warm reunion....more
