We are excited to announce the Student Modeling Competition for Building Simulation 2023!
This year's topic is to design and optimize a campus building in Shanghai toward net-zero carbon emissions, subject to the design criteria and constraints.
The competition offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to form their own multidisciplinary teams and engage in a challenging exercise in developing a simulation-based design. It is encouraged to embed the competition within the curriculum as training material.
The two finalists will be invited to present their projects at Building Simulation 2023. Based on the oral presentation and the summary poster, an overall winner will be selected and announced at the conference.
The competition is part of the IBPSA's effort to raise interest among young people and help build up their skills. Please spread the word among your colleagues and motivate students to participate.
