The research paper is dedicated to scientific breakthroughs with a maximum of 8 pages. All authors who submitted an abstract have received an email about the acceptance of their work. Note that only authors with an accepted abstract can submit a research paper. You may find the paper guidelines and the Word/LaTeX template from the link down below.
The project report is for successful applications of performance simulation in real-world projects, limited to 4-page extended abstract. We invite all practitioners and industry partners to share their valuable experiences with the community. The report is now open for new submissions, allowing work-in-progress projects up for discussion. All manuscripts should follow the Word/LaTeX template on the instruction page:

All travel restrictions to China have been lifted. BS2023 encourages physical attendance for your best experience. You will be asked to identify your preferred presentation mode (physical or virtual) when filling out the submission form in ConfTool.

Attention: it is the last call to get enrolled in this year's Student Modeling Competition! Individual students or teams worldwide are welcome to participate. New challenges, 2 finalists. Check our website and the IBPSA education webinar for more information.
We aim to encourage younger generations to involve in the building simulation and raise awareness of its importance and challenges. The college courses may incorporate the competition as training material. Let us know your intent to contribute to the competition by emails to student@bs2023.org without hesitation!
